Every Tool is a Weapon if You Hold It Right

Last night I had the expected pleasure of watching Ani Difranco scream out passion filled lyrics.

Notes on Opening Act: I might enjoy the opening acts more. I root for the underdog and bask in the glory of the undiscovered. She (I unfortunately forgot her name) was delightful and her performance was memorable. Something that caught my thought was the way that she spoke. Musician's voices seem to be passive and whimsical. More often than not this means that their tone is lazy, scratchy, and low.

Notes on Ani: The old man that accompanied Ani was fantastic. He plays his white marshmellow framed guitar as if her were the principal violinist in a symphonic orchestra. Feeling way strum his hips.

A Parallel Universe

There is another realm that we must constantly be aware of. This idea of a parallel universe comes straight from the Bible. The other world can break into our world. Paul and John have written about this realm.

If Music be the Food of Love

I love listening to music with my sony headphones. I enjoy them more than the standard iPod headphones due to the fact that they cancel all the sound around me except for loud laughter. My favorite thing to do is watch the people I love have conversations around me and smile, telling each other stories and sharing thoughts. I love being able to do this while listening to music on full blast. It is as if I have my own personal soundtrack to my own intimate movie.

PLAY ON!

Adventures

Last Saturday I had some extra time after work before I had to arrive at Coyote Hill. I went down a few random roads and saw a couple of deer and beautiful houses. The best part was visiting a place called Alpine Park. It is mainly a place where they have weddings, but there was some beautiful scenes. I swung on a wooden swing. There were thousands of various colored butterflies.
